Já fui neste restaurante várias vezes e sempre achei que era comida típica australiana, mas consultando os sites (www.outback.com.br / www.outback.com) encontrei poucas informações confirmando que é comida típica australiana.
Encontrei que é uma steakhouse baseada em temas australianos e no cardápio em "outback favoritos" menciona "Explore esse sabor com os pratos favoritos da Austrália". Bom... acho que é comida típica australiana....rssss
O importante que você deve experimentar dois pratos famosos:
Ribs On The Barbie (Costela de Ripa)
É uma costela de porco defumada e grelhada (escolha o molho, barbecue ou bilabong), servida com fritas e Cinnamon Apples (maças em cubos com molho agridoce).
Eu adoro este prato. Nem dá para perceber a carne de porco por causa do molho que é picante! Bom, nem sabia que dava para escolher o molho, mas da próxima vez vou experimentar o bilabong e as maças com molho agridoce alivia o molho apimentado da costela.
Bloomin Onion (Cebola gigante empanada e frita)
É uma cebola gigante empanada e frita, cortada em cubos. Parece uma flor desabrochando. Coma retirando as pétalas... Também vêm com molho que pode ser "puxado" ou não na pimenta. Muito bomm!!!!
Só estes dois pratos acima dá para dois casais comer a vontade. Mas se tiver com muita fome ou quiser experimentar um prato a base de frango experimente:
Kookaburra Wings
São sobreasas de frango empanadas e com molho "puxado" na pimenta ou não, à sua escolha. Excelente!!!!
E se você for o aniversariante, peça a sobremesa. É cortesia!!!
Além da comida, em alguns restaurantes o refrigerante e o chá são de refil. Beba o quanto puder!!!! Também vale dizer que o atendimento é muito bom!
O único ponto negativo é a espera que dependendo do horário pode ultrapassar 2 horas. Vá com tempo!!!

It is a smoked pork ribs and grilled (choose the sauce, barbecue or bilabong), served with fries and Cinnamon Apples (diced apples with sweet and sour sauce).
I love this dish. You can not even perceive the pork because of the sauce that is spicy!Well, did not even know you could choose the sauce, but next time I'll try bilabongapples and sweet and sour sauce with hot sauce relieves the rib.
Bloomin Onion (Onion giant breaded and fried)
